HEALTH & MEDICINE RESEARCH AREA
Canvassing new concepts of health and disease as they appear in the work of health-professionals in both clinical and theoretical fields. Concentrating on avant-garde circles in the West, but paying due attention to parallel developments in the East, as well as in indigenous cultures.
The Paradigm Shift in Healthcare
The Paradigm shift in healthcare is a project which seeks to identify key weaknesses and complementarities in the models of Medicine existing in the world, our ultimate objective being to bring about a Global Paradigm Shift in Healthcare.
This also fits in the Global Paradigm Shift project developed by the N-Light Endowment Fund and the Laszlo Institute of New Paradigm Research which also deal with issues of Environment and Education.
Moreover, it meets WHO’s expectations and part of the UNO 17 SDG for 2030.
Objectives and Strategies
1. Introduce ‘Consciousness’ in health methods, frameworks and systems.
The bottom-up, science-based approach of Health prevention and care by Westerners is reaching its limits, due to an exclusively scientific, “bottom-up” approach of reality, from which a “key element” is missing in the allopathic approach and care of pathologies: Consciousness.
The “top-down”, Consciousness-based vision of Eastern Traditional medicines, combined with powerful Allopathic technologies would lead to a powerful mix named “Integrative Medicine”.
This project aims at bringing forward a “paradigm shift in healthcare” which will tend to establish Integrative Medicine (IM) as the standard of our time.
For the start, Allopathy and Homeopathy for the West, Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine for the East will structure an IM model covering over 75% of the world population.
2. Build a digital global healthcare and education platform
The global healthcare and education platform will be built in collaboration with CS-DC UNESCO Unitwin, our purpose being to adapt local means and priorities to global goals.
By engaging in a context-based, culturally sensitive approach, we plan to develop local traditional healing methods and resources, while making valid modern healthcare techniques accessible to an increasing number of patients worldwide.
