Canvassing new concepts of health and disease as they appear in the work of health-professionals in both clinical and theoretical fields. Concentrating on avant-garde circles in the West, but paying due attention to parallel developments in the East, as well as in indigenous cultures.

The Paradigm Shift in Healthcare

The Paradigm shift in healthcare is a project which seeks to identify key weaknesses and complementarities in the models of Medicine existing in the world, our ultimate objective being to bring about a Global Paradigm Shift in Healthcare.

This also fits in the Global Paradigm Shift project developed by the N-Light Endowment Fund and the Laszlo Institute of New Paradigm Research which also deal with issues of Environment and Education.

Moreover, it meets WHO’s expectations and part of the UNO 17 SDG for 2030.

Objectives and Strategies

1. Introduce ‘Consciousness’ in health methods, frameworks and systems.

The bottom-up, science-based approach of Health prevention and care by Westerners is reaching its limits, due to an exclusively scientific, “bottom-up” approach of reality, from which a “key element” is missing in the allopathic approach and care of pathologies: Consciousness.

The “top-down”, Consciousness-based vision of Eastern Traditional medicines, combined with powerful Allopathic technologies would lead to a powerful mix named “Integrative Medicine”.

This project aims at bringing forward a “paradigm shift in healthcare” which will tend to establish Integrative Medicine (IM) as the standard of our time.

For the start, Allopathy and Homeopathy for the West, Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine for the East will structure an IM model covering over 75% of the world population.

2. Build a digital global healthcare and education platform

The global healthcare and education platform will be built in collaboration with CS-DC UNESCO Unitwin, our purpose being to adapt local means and priorities to global goals.

By engaging in a context-based, culturally sensitive approach, we plan to develop local traditional healing methods and resources, while making valid modern healthcare techniques accessible to an increasing number of patients worldwide.

Reviewing new trends and conceptions that promote open multicultural and multidisciplinary learning rather than the traditional teaching of traditional materials. The areas to review include curriculum-development and the practical application of emerging conceptions in beyond-the-school real-world settings.

He worked at the Institute of Occupational Medicine of University of Trieste, where he taught “Industrial Toxicology”, “Industrial Technology” and “Epidemiology of Occupational Diseases”. He has been studying environmental carcinogens since 1974. He has performed many epidemiological researches particularly about the relationship between asbestos ad cancer. He has been studying the relationships between stem cell differentiation and cancer since 1982 and he has isolated the stem cell differentiation stage factors able to delay tumor growth, to prevent aging and neurodegeneration and very effective also in the treatment of psoriasis. Head of Occupational Medicine at the Hospital of Sesto S.G. (Milano) and Professor at the Post-Graduate School of Occupational Medicine of University of Trieste from 1984 until 2003, he works now at the Scientific Institute of Research and HealthCare (IRCSC) Multimedica of Milano.

He is author of more than hundred scientific publications and of some books: “L’Aggressione Nascosta. Limiti Sanitari di Esposizione ai Rischi” published by Feltrinelli 1982,  “Complexity and Biology” published by B. Mondadori 2002, “Il Cancro e la Ricerca del Senso Perduto” edited by Springer 2008, (this last book was published also in USA by North Atlantic Books 2009 (“Cancer and the Search for Lost Meaning“), and by Verlag Via Nova in Germany 2011) and “Il Senso Ritrovato” (with Ervin Laszlo) published by Springer in 2012. With Ervin Laszlo and Diego Frigoli ” he published the also the book: Dal Segno al Simbolo. Il Manifesto del Nuovo Paradigma in Medicina, edited by Persiani in 2014 and with Laszlo the book “Information Medicine” edited by Healing Arts Press Rochester 2018, and finally the book “Guarire” edited by Enea, Italy in 2019.

Dr. Carlo Ventura

Prof. Carlo Ventura, is MD, Cardiologist, and Ph.D. in Biochemistry. He was Researcher at the “Laboratory of Cardiovascular Science”, N.I.A./N.I.H., Baltimore, MD, U.S.A. from 1988 to 1992, and then for repeated periods until 1994.

He is Full Professor of Molecular Biology at the School of Medicine of the University of Bologna, Italy, and Chief of the National Laboratory of Molecular Biology and Stem Cell Engineering of the National Institute of Biostructures and Biosystems (NIBB – INBB) – ELDOR LAB, at the Innovation Accelerators of CNR (National Research Council), in Bologna.

Carlo Ventura is member of the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB), and of the Cell Transplant Society. He discovered nuclear endorphin receptors and small peptide signaling responsible for cardiogenesis in mouse embryonic stem cells, paving the way to the new field of “intracrine” regulation of cell biology.

He developed new molecules harboring differentiating and paracrine logics for cardiovascular regeneration. He found that “extremely-low frequency” and asymmetrically-conveyed radioelectric fields were able to enhance stem cell expression of pluripotency, and afford a direct reprogramming of human skin fibroblasts towards myocardial, neuronal and skeletal muscle lineages.

He has also discovered that cells are sensitive to acoustic vibrations and patented the cell ability to express “vibrational” signatures of their health and differentiating potential. These findings opened a new perspective based upon the use of
physical energy in stem cell science.

He published more than 150 full papers in the top journals of cellular and molecular biology.

Dr. Nitamo Montecucco

Dr. Nitamo Federico Montecucco (MD. PhD.) is the Director of the Institute of Neuropsychosomatics. He is a researcher in neuroscience and psychosomatic therapy.
